Alan and Bell will Manage Distribution for all Network Music and Entertainment Properties

NEW YORK, NY – June 11, 2019 – Westwood One, the largest audio network in the U.S., proudly announces the promotion of Todd Alan to Vice President, Affiliate Sales, Music & Entertainment from Director, Affiliate Sales. In his new role, Alan will manage and develop the company’s station relationships and distribution partnerships across its music and entertainment programming, including Westwood One Backstage live marquee events and radio row activations. Alan is based in New York City and reports to Stuart Greenblatt, SVP, Affiliate Sales.

In addition, Westwood One has hired affiliate sales specialist Julie Bell as Director, Affiliate Sales, Music & Entertainment. Bell takes over Alan’s previous responsibilities, reporting directly to him.

Alan and Bell are highly accomplished radio industry veterans with years of affiliate sales expertise and client relationship finesse. Alan has spent 16 years at Westwood One, with affiliate sales experience in Entertainment and Talk programming. He also spent two years as a Vice President, Affiliate Sales and Programming for Focus 360, LLC, where he was instrumental in expanding their mobile division and developing partnerships for the Classic Rock Society of America. Prior to Westwood One, he served as Director of Affiliate Marketing for LAUNCH Media and Affiliate Sales Manager for OnRadio.

Bell comes to Westwood One from United Stations, where she spent 20 years as Regional Director, Affiliate Relations. She also served as National Director, Content & Affiliate Relations at Superadio and as Director of Client Services and Research Manager for Vallie-Richards Consulting. In addition, Bell was Account Executive/Product Manager for Broadcast Investment Analysts (BIA), a database software program for radio and television stations. Earlier in her career, Bell was a Research Director at WBMW-FM in Fairfax, VA.
