In order to come together and write the most raw epic record of their career thus far, the members of WALK THE MOON had to embrace the heights of joy and depths of pain in the most uncertain time of their lives.

They would even face down the question of breaking up, which seems inconceivable given that the Cincinnati natives — singer/keyboardist Nicholas Petricca, guitarist Eli Maiman, bassist Kevin Ray, and drummer Sean Waugaman — had just come off the most successful period of their career, thanks to scoring a game-changing hit with the soaring anthem “Shut Up and Dance.”

Released two months ahead of their second album, the now gold-certified, Talking Is Hard (which hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative Albums chart), “Shut Up and Dance” was a ubiquitous multi-platinum global smash that peaked at No. 1 on the Alternative, Hot AC, and AC charts and No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100, and went to No. 2 at Top 40 radio, racking up over six million downloads and 850 million streams in the process. The song earned WALK THE MOON a slew of honors including winning two Billboard Music awards and at the time broke the record for consecutive weeks at #1 on Billboard’s Hot Rock Songs chart. Prior to this breakthrough, WALK THE MOON had scored two Top 20 Alternative hits, 2010’s “Anna Sun” and “Tightrope” off their 2012 self-titled album. Then “Shut Up and Dance” charted around the world, leading to an international tour that found the band visiting 25 countries across five continents over three months.

About Taylor Grey

Twenty-year old singer/songwriter Taylor Grey’s video “Miami” currently has one million views and her “Never Woulda Letcha” video has more than 1.1 million views. Both singles are off her new album, Space Case. Taylor is a student at Stanford University studying Neuroscience. When she is not in school she is performing, having opened for Sabrina Carpenter, Max, Jacob Whitesides, and Flo Rida. She has upcoming holiday shows with Jake Miller and All Time Low.

About Sabrina Carpenter

In April of 2015, singer/songwriter/actress Sabrina Carpenter, then not yet 16, unveiled her debut album, Eyes Wide Open. The album reflected Carpenter’s life over the previous three years, during which she rose to fame playing rebellious Maya Hart on the Disney Channel hit series Girl Meets World. The gestation period for Carpenter’s sophomore album, EVOLution, out October 14, was shorter, but clearly encompassed even more growth. “I’m living in an adult world,” notes Carpenter, who is 17 now. She enlisted Ido Zmishlany (Shawn Mendes, NEEDTOBREATHE), with whom she’d co-written last spring’s pulsing, lovelorn single “Smoke And Fire,” to collaborate on a number of tracks, including the album’s first single “On Purpose,” which segues from eerie, piano-driven verses to twinkling, soaring choruses. The new maturity showcased on EVOLution extends to Carpenter’s more confident, distinctly sultrier singing.

About Secondhand Serenade

Multiplatinum recording artist Secondhand Serenade returns with a full production version of his new song “Lost.” Released this fall on Glassnote Records, he is currently in the middle of a 40-city headline tour. Earlier this year, Secondhand Serenade released the 10-year anniversary re-release of his debut album Awake.

The album included 12 songs remixed and re-mastered along with 2 brand new songs, one of which was an acoustic version of “Lost.” In 2007, Awake debuted at number 16 on Billboard’s Top Heatseekers chart and added success led to it being number 3 on the Heatseekers Chart. Secondhand Serenade led by vocalist, pianist and guitarist John Vesely, has released four studio albums to date under the name Secondhand Serenade: Awake in 2007, A Twist in My Story in 2008, Hear Me Now in 2010, and Undefeated in 2014.

The single “Fall For You” off of his second album is certified RIAA Double Platinum peaking at #6 on the US Pop Charts. Vesely currently resides in Nashville, TN.
