It’s a Homecoming for Expert Sales Veteran

NEW YORK, August 4, 2015 Westwood One announced that it has hired sales executive Tasha Blasi Pannuzzo as Senior Vice President, Marketing & Sales, NASH. In her newly-created role, Blasi, as she is known professionally, will oversee client relations, brand partnerships, and multi-platform integrations for all of the company’s NASH entertainment brand programming platforms, including America’s Morning Show, NASH Nights Live, Kickin’ it with Kix, American Country Countdown, NASH TV, the recently-launched NASH Next, and the NASH Icon syndicated format. Blasi is based in New York City and reports directly to Westwood One President Steve Shaw.

It is a homecoming for Blasi, who previously worked at Westwood One from 2005-2011.  During her earlier tenure with the company she was one of the top sellers before moving up to manage the Business Radio Network and lead sales and marketing for the launch of the Wall Street Journal Radio assets.  More recently, Blasi was a Sales Director at TargetSpot.  Earlier in her career, she was a high school Biology and Chemistry teacher, a private tutor, and an entrepreneur who created several small businesses.

“Our NASH assets are attracting great advertiser interest and we needed a seasoned professional to build on that buzz and cater to those clients,” said Shaw.  “Tasha totally fits the bill. She’s got powerful sales savvy, she knows the Country demographic, and she’s a proven revenue generator. She will be a great addition to our senior management team.”

Blasi added, “Creating  a strong sales vertical for the NASH brand will be like running my own small business within a business—a space I know really well. I’m looking forward to designing unique, customized sponsorship packages that offer clients turnkey solutions that exceed their expectations.”
