Andy Waits came to Westwood One from Los Angeles-area station KTPI-FM, where he did mornings for 2 years.
Andy has experience in a variety of formats, including stops at KJQN-FM and KLRZ-FM in Salt Lake City; WNNK-FM in Harrisburg, PA, the #2 rated CHR Evening Show in the country; KODS-FM and KSXY-FM in Reno; and KAVC-FM and KKXX-FM in the Los Angeles area.

Bill O’Brien came to Westwood One after many years as an air talent at some great markets in the eastern U.S. Bill has worked at WCAU-FM/Philadelphia, as well as great radio stations like WPRO-FM/Providence and both WXKS and WBCS in Boston.
Bob McEntire’s 20+ radio career includes legendary stations KMAK in Fresno and KCKC in San Bernardino; also, Riverside’s KFRG-FM, Orange County’s KIKF-FM and at several other Los Angeles-area Country stations
Jeff Scott is the newest member to Hot Country. His 17-year career includes evenings at B-100 Los Angeles, afternoons at Q105 Ventura and comedy writer/producer for two years with “After Midnight.”
Before joining Verna McKay as co-host of Young & Verna, Jeff Young was the Morning Drive jock at WBLI in Nassau-Suffolk, NY while also producing and hosting a local NY cable video countdown show.
Jeff’s experience includes on-air work at KZFX-FM, Houston; KFXM/KDUO-FM, San Bernardino-Riverside (where he was PD); KUFO-FM, Portland, OR and KSFP/KYA-FM, San Francisco.
Jim Duncan is probably best known for the ten years he spent as columnist and editor of the Country section of Radio & Records.
Jim has worked at L.A. stations like KHJ and KZLA, and was San Diego’s top-rated morning man while at KSON.
He’s also one of the top concert and audio sound mixers in the business, and has produced radio concert specials of numerous artists from George Strait to Lionel Richie.
Shannon Smith came to Westwood One from the Riverside-San Bernardino area where she had been heard on Country KFRG-FM (K-FROG), “Lite Hits” KQLH-FM and KMEN-AM. Shannon is currently doing mid-days at L.A.-area country station KTPI.
She honed her skills at KIOT-FM, Barstow, CA where she worked doing “afternoons, Program Director, Music Director, production, copywriting, news, sales, everything!”
She has also done agency voice-overs and Club DJ work.
Verna McKay’s spent much of her career on the air at top stations across America, including: Arrow 93 FM/KCBS-FM/KODJ Los Angeles (Oldies) and KEZY-FM in Anaheim on the West Coast, and urban Power 99 WUSL and Sunny 104 WSNI in Philadelphia on the East Coast.
Along the way he has worked as an announcer and program director in the Memphis and Bakersfield markets at Country WMS-FM and KKXX-FM, and was on the air in Los Angeles at B-100.
Zack most recently spent two years with Westwood One's "70's" format.
He has also worked in the L.A. TV market as an entertainment reporter and movie critic and is a frequent contributor to the comedy section of the Los Angeles Times. (3P-8P ET)
