Joe Benson Uncle Joe Benson has been a familiar voice on the radio for over 38 years, 26 of those at top-rated Los Angeles rock stations including his current/longtime on-air home, 95.5 KLOS-FM. As the afternoon on-air personality, he treats his audience to a daily dose of his encyclopedic knowledge of rock and roll, an expertise which extends to his nationally syndicated show "Off The Record."

Joe Benson has also authored the insightful and informed Uncle Joe's Record Guides series, which serve as an in-depth history of rock music, detailing the writing and recording processes of the most influential bands to make the scene. He became the voice of the California Speedway in 1997, where he continues to announce, call races, and conduct driver interviews.
