We sell embedded sponsorships within our traffic and information on a market-by-market basis. Our National Account Manager must be aggressive, creative and have a proven track-record of delivering results & generating significant new business.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing new business, as well as managing and growing existing accounts.
Understand client marketing needs and objectives.
Communicate how our advertising platform can help achieve marketing goals provide solutions.
Develop corporate and agency accounts; cultivate and maintain long-term, productive relationships with clients.
Create successful sales strategies for Metro Networks' products and services. Identify prospects, prepare ideas, present proposals and deliver plans to close business.
Structure and negotiate campaign terms.
Experience:
BA with a minimum of 2-5 years of strategic sales or agency experience.
Previous work in media, advertising or sponsorship sales is preferred, but not required.
Superior presentation, communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop strong and cooperative working relationships with key internal and external constituencies.
Background in account management and consultative selling.
Prospecting and closing skills and a full understanding of the sales process are critical.

Responsibilities:
Perform qualitative and quantitative research
Administrative tasks such as phones, filing, expenses, travel arrangements
Sales support functions for handling RFPs (requests for proposals), insertion orders, contract maintenance, client communication and preparing competitive reports.
Order office supplies
Print contracts
Organize folders on shared drive
Work on presentations
Experience:
Bachelor's degree.
High level of competency in Microsoft Office skills specifically with Excel & PowerPoint.
Some knowledge of Arbitron/Scarborough Research & Audio Editing preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Our MARKETING DIRECTOR will develop marketing and sales support strategies for ad sales, targeting priority clients, categories, agencies and Team Impact sales opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Ad Sales Marketing
Create effective, competitive, creative sales Participate in Network sales meetings and manager calls with ideas for generating incremental revenue through creative promotions for network radio and digital clients
Coordinate with Metro Traffic counterpart on Team Impact sales opportunities.
Develop promotional tie-ins for major advertising prospects and/or clients.
Events
Increase the branding impact of , and revenue opportunities for, network "signature events" (Superbowl, Olympics, ACM, etc)
Affiliate Sales Marketing
Work with affiliate sales contact to oversee creation of Affiliate marketing materials for network talent and other programming.
Coordinate marketing plans for network programming and talent in news/talk, entertainment, and, where requested, sports.
Administration
Manage network marketing budget.
Manage priorities for marketing team, including shared resources (Creative, PR, Events)
Strategy
With head of, participate in identifying data-driven strategic opportunities for Network
Experience:
Minimum of 8 years experience in media sales and/or marketing at a media company.
Experience working with media agencies and advertising clients in a range of categories.
Experience in developing media sales strategies.
Demonstrated creativity in overseeing the creation of promotional concepts, ideas and implementation.
Track record of attention to detail in implementing promotions and events.
Experience working with other marketing functions, including creative, events, and digital.
Ability to work with talent.
Ability to work with affiliate sales and station management.

Our Sales Planning department manages and prices our entire commercial advertising inventory. Our office is a fast-paced work environment offering substantial potential for growth and reward. Our Sports Traffic Coordinator must be a leader and possess strong analytical skills.
The Sports Traffic Coordinator is a problem-solving, solution-focused member of an integrated team process. Candidate must be able to work effectively with a wide range of colleagues having different work styles,.The successful candidate will have the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. This position is based in NY and reports to the Director of Traffic and Continuity.
Responsibilities:
Schedule ordered commercials in all live Sports (and some syndicated music/talk) programming, using strategic spot placement and avoiding potential conflicts between advertisers, while adhering to specific break structures.
Monitor daily reports and reconcile orders by way of make goods and/or contract modifications.
Reconcile upcoming sports schedules with internal system schedules for Sales Planning and Traffic scheduling.
Assist Sales, Sales Planning, Continuity and Production Departments in diagnosing commercial placement issues.
Must be able to meet multiple production-based deadlines and accommodate last-minute situations in order to maximize revenue.
UAT (User Acceptance Testing) of new system related enhancements for the Traffic Department
Experience:
1-2 years broadcast industry experience
A strong understanding of sports (NFL, NCAA Football/Basketball, Olympics, Golf, etc) broadcasting is necessary
Superior attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple, concurrent deadlines
Highly computer proficient with strong excel skills and ability to quickly learn new software programs
High working knowledge of broadcast traffic systems
Excellent communication, interpersonal and team skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Passion for Sports a plus
