NEW YORK, NY, April 4, 2014 – WestwoodOne, America’s leader in radio play-by-play sports, is proud to present exclusive coverage of the 2014 NCAA Men’s Final Four® in North Texas on Saturday, April 5, 2014 and the NCAA® Men’s Division I Championship Game on Monday, April 7, 2014. WestwoodOne’s Final Four® and Championship coverage will be heard on more than 500 radio stations nationwide and via SiriusXM satellite radio. Additionally, the games will also be streamed online for free at WestwoodOneSports.com and NCAA.com/marchmadness, and available for fans on mobile devices via the NCAA March Madness Live app, as well as on TuneIn Radio.
On Saturday, April 5, the broadcast day tips off at 3:30pm ET with The Final Four Show. Game coverage begins at 4:30pm ET with Connecticut vs. Florida, followed by Kentucky vs. Wisconsin. WestwoodOne Sports’ Kevin Kugler provides the play-by-play, with analysis from Hall of Fame coach John Thompson and veteran college hoops analyst and former coachBill Raftery. Jim Gray will serve as the courtside reporter. Former UCLA All-American and three-time NCAA Player of the Year Bill Walton contributes to the pregame and halftime shows. Jason Horowitz hosts the pregame and halftime shows.
The winners of Saturday’s games meet for the championship game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Monday, April 7. Coverage tips off at 6:30 pm ET with “Championship Monday.” Game coverage begins at 7:30 pm ET.
WestwoodOne will also broadcast the NCAA Women’s Final Four and NCAA Women’s Division I Championship Game in Nashville on April 6 and April 8, 2014. All three women’s games will also be available on multiple platforms for fans to enjoy nationwide.
WestwoodOne’s doubleheader coverage of the Women’s Final Four tips off at 6 pm ET, when Maryland faces unbeaten Notre Dame, followed by Stanford against the undefeated top seed, Connecticut. The winners will meet Tuesday night. Dave Ryan, Debbie Antonelli, and Krista Blunk will describe all the action from Bridgestone Arena.
